Les Menuires has a privileged location in Les 3 Vallées, the largest ski resort in the world (600 km of slopes and 200 ski lifts which connect Les Menuires/Saint Martin with Val Thorens, Orelle, Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania and Brides-les-Bains) and an incredible variety of slopes and activities.
Les Menuires/Saint Martin along with Val Thorens form the Valley of Les Belleville which includes 300 km of slopes and 63 ski lifts. The ski area goes from 1850 metres to 3200 metres (the large cabin of the Cime Caron).
The chalet is situated at the slope. Using the Bettex lift or the Tortolet lift you will have connection to the lifts to the centre and the total ski resort. From the chalet there are lovely tours for beginners including going to Val Thorens and Saint Martin de Belleville (all blue). Cracks can indulge themselves by selecting various black slopes or choosing to go the distance for example by skiing for a lunch to the cosy Courchevel (two valleys further). Beginners can turn to the beginners meadow around the corner. In the direct vicinity of the house (small) children can play in the snow with a sled.
The children are spoiled in the “children villages”. In the Club des Piou-Piou of La Croisette they are already welcome from the age of 3 months. (child care, baby car and kindergarten)
Plenty of other activities are possible outside of skiing. You can choose to go for a walk on foot, with snowshoes or with a buggy/quad, the swimming pool or the fitness club. You can discover the cultural heritage of the Vallée de Belleville or listen to one of the classical concerts.
Les Menuires reveals a new architectural landscape nowadays, formed out of chalets and residences respecting the traditional style of the mountains. The station remains loyal to its warm and functional image and nearly all buildings are situated on the slopes.
In the direct vicinity of the chalet there are various restaurants, a sales point of the ski passes sales, the Cave of Yeti, where young people can amuse themselves, and a supermarket. The bakery delivers fresh bread every morning at the time requested by you.
From the chalet it is a few hundred metres of walking to the pedestrian lift (free) to the Centre La Croisette, so you can leave your car behind without worries. The lift goes from 8:00 to 23:00.
